Visit to the Ouzoud Waterfalls

Ouzoud: Where the Water Falls and Rainbows Are Born

After a delicious breakfast, we leave Marrakech for the Ouzoud Waterfalls, 190 km away in the heart of the magnificent Middle Atlas. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in the region. The falls are a natural spectacle, with the water tumbling down in terraces and creating an almost permanent rainbow over the limestone rocks. Above the falls, you will discover a dozen old grain mills that are still in use, keeping tradition alive. You may also spot the famous macaque monkeys, which live in the surrounding caves and compete for the carob and fruit trees. It is no coincidence that Ouzoud means "sweet" in Berber, as this place has everything for a delightful day out. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon. (Lunch at your own expense - not included).
