Set off on a 5-day journey through the most iconic medinas of northern Morocco. From vibrant Tangier to magical Fez, taking in the Roman ruins of Volubilis, imperial Meknes and charming, blue-washed Chefchaouen. Explore labyrinthine medinas, palaces, artisan guilds and landscapes that seem straight out of a storybook. A tour steeped in history, culture and Andalusian tradition, capturing the essence of the most authentic Morocco. Includes accommodation with dinner in selected hotels, guided visits, the ferry from the Costa del Sol and the option of optional excursions to make this unforgettable experience even richer.
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Costa del Sol - Tarifa - Tangier (160 Km)
We set off from the sun-drenched Costa del Sol, bound for a world of legends and exotic aromas. We cross the waters of the legendary Strait of Gibraltar towards Tangier, the city that holds the secrets of two continents. Once on Moroccan soil, a guided tour awaits to reveal the charms of the surrounding area: the mysterious Caves of Hercules, where, according to myth, the demigod rested, and majestic Cape Spartel, a beacon at the edge of the Atlantic.
After this first taste of Morocco, there will be free time for lunch before we check in to our accommodation. For the curious, there is the option of an excursion to Assilah, a coastal gem graced with ramparts and traces of its Andalusian past.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel, under the spell of the African night.
Did you know… The legendary Caves of Hercules, near Tangier, are said to be where the demigod Hercules rested after separating Mount Calpe (Gibraltar) from Mount Abila (in Morocco) to form the Strait of Gibraltar.

Highlights include its Andalusian-style courtyards, carved doors and its closeness to the Atlantic Ocean, which offers lovely views and an ideal setting for a relaxed cultural escape.

Price per person. Please ask about supplements for joining the group if arriving outside the itinerary and for departures from other parts of Andalusia. Passengers are responsible for their own travel documents. Missing ferry crossings or flights will incur additional costs, which may vary depending on the time of year. Please travel with 1 suitcase per person. Excess baggage incurs an additional charge of 20€ per extra suitcase. Due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, itineraries may be subject to changes or alterations in the order of the programme.
